Terrance sat on the swing as he felt the spot on his face where he had been slapped burn... Why did he have to act like such a jerk? Why couldn't he just sit alone in solitude? His violin case sat beside him but he did not wish to play at the moment.
Maybe later, He told himself, What's the point in playing if I'm all alone?
There had to be some way to impress the others, some way to redeem himself after his embarassing encounter with that girl... His eyes trailed to the forest and a grin grew on his face.
If I were to bring back one of those creatures everyone would be impressed.
His mood lightened, he pulled out his violin and began playing... The time would come for him to go hunting, but first he would play... |

a scream of a girl sounded up in the rocky woods as a snarl sounded with it.
"AH!"then there was a thump and all was quiet.

Terrance's interest was sparked by this scream. Violin in hand he began walking towards the woods. People had been dissappearing recently, and those creatures lived there... He took a step when suddenly he realized he had nothing to defend himself with...
I need something... A gun....
He turned towards the town, placing his violin in it's case. He fished through his pockets until he pulled out a fist-full of money.
"59.... 60..." He counted under his breath.
Hoping it would be enough for a gun, he ran towards town... |

joe was in the gun store.
"what! but i don't want this one! i'll give it back for free!"joe growled.
"i can't sell that!"the casher snarled back.
"keep the dang 22! how else am i suppose to get rid of it? santa clause!"he yelled.

Terrance entered the store quietly but couldn't help but chuckle at the arguement ensuing. He walked up behind Joe and patted him on the back.
"There appears to be a bit of trouble here," he grinned, "Anything I can help you with before I buy a gun of my own?"
Not that the money he brought would buy him much of a gun.... A couple scraps of metal and a bullet maybe, but not a real gun. He winced internally at this thought. Even if he COULD buy a gun with his measly pocket change, where'd he get the ammunition?
"Speaking of which," he continued, not allowing the doubt to show on his face, "how much is one of these things?"
He gestured towards a rack of hand guns as he said the last word. The metal looked so enticing to his eye... |
